Don’t Just take our word for it, hear what our customers have to say!

“Thank you Delegated Services, and in particular Shelley, for your perseverance in these ever-changing times to arrange for the EVC Refresher course to go ahead online. It was very useful and great to be able to share experiences and ideas with colleagues from other schools. We’d all have preferred to be in the same room but Claire did an amazing job, making it fun as well as informative to keep us all engaged for the morning. Great job DS!”

“It is so helpful to have all points so clearly identified and this has led to a real sense of purpose for our team in terms of quickly addressing actions.  Your supportive audit has really helped us here at school, where busy times require items such as those identified by yourself to be a high priority.

Many thanks again for your thorough scrutiny and for helping make our setting a safer place”

— Ro o’Reilly, headteacher, Willowdown Primary

“We wanted to take a step forward with our work on continuity and critical incidents, having had the DS 3Cs policy for implementation and seen the supporting training offer available. We have also been concerned at the challenges being faced by schools with bomb hoaxes and social media challenges.

So we booked Bill Crocker in to support our SMT for a morning. His presentation putting the subject matter in the safeguarding arena and Ofsted context was thought provoking. It provided us many action points and nuggets for us to work on in a proportional and prioritised way. Using time to look at the two documents was also valuable to bring them to life and consider how best to share the load of seeing through the tasks necessary.

It was a valuable investment and so It’s Governors next and explaining and engaging our team in it all, then to the parent/carers and our pupils, of course.”

“Our Y6 pupils from Hotwells Primary School were in London when the incidents at Westminster took place in March 2017. The group were at the London Eye at the time, having finished their visit to the Houses of Parliament.

From the moment I picked up the phone to call Bill (who confirmed that using the emergency number was indeed the right choice!), until the day after the close of the event, his support was invaluable.

All pupils and staff were moved to a place of safety swiftly and calmly. The event was dealt with so expertly and smoothly by all involved – my staff, the police and other emergency services – that the children, in fact had no inkling of the incidents that had occurred.

The group arrived home late in the evening and were met by myself and my SBM. Parents were kept informed hourly by text. Our children were a huge credit to the school and parents have been very supportive. Today we have included in the school day time to talk as a group for the staff involved plus discussion and circle times for the children and have also built in offers of further support for all who request it.

Bill – a heartfelt thank you to you for the way you responded so very quickly and supportively during our recent need for emergency planning and media support at school. In particular, thank you for going over the finer points of what to include in a statement to the media by phone; for advising us on changing our collection point in order to avoid unwanted media attention; for physically being present at school in the evening whilst I went to meet the returning coach; and for returning to school the next morning to support and manage any additional attention.

Thangam Debbonaire, who was at the Houses of Parliament yesterday and met all the children, is coming into school tomorrow for a visit.

Once more I would like to thank Bill Crocker, Executive Director of Delegated Services, again, for his excellent support.”

“Due to a move onto two sites, I felt that it was very important that a First Aid Risk Assessment of the whole school was carried out to ensure that we had sufficient first aid cover as well as looking at our administration of medication processes.

”Both meetings that I had with Lucy Wyatt were very productive and the risk assessments were fully discussed, so there were no surprises when I received the final risk assessment.

”Lucy is very knowledgeable on these areas and the risk assessments refer to DfE guidance and Health Protection Agency advice. I feel that the risk assessments that I now have for first aid and administration of medication are extremely thorough and I am confident in the provision that we have in these areas.”

“Thank you for delivering such an important, current message. You definitely made me think carefully about how easily messages/images can be seen on the Internet.”

”Calm and eloquent delivery meant delivering tricky subject matter was handled with respect. Really appreciated hearing everyone’s point of view – really allowed our ethos and values to shine!”

”Thank you for such a great introduction to what could happen (newspapers) and to thinking before you share!”

”Mandy, I hope this gives you a flavour of how well-received the training was. Thank you so much and I would definitely recommend you to others.”

“Thank you very much to Bill and the team from Delegated Services for the fantastic support
given to St Philip’s Marsh Nursery School through a very challenging time.

Refurbishing and opening the new Cashmore Early Years Centre and establishing a new children’s centre in Barton Hill in difficult circumstances and to a very tight timescale required the most dedicated and professional support.

With the support of Delegated Services we were able to ensure continuity of provision for some very vulnerable children, meet all the necessary regulatory requirements, and open on time.”

“We had a situation with a child that resulted in me having to take some tough decisions regarding pupil discipline and sanctions. This subsequently led to a verbal attack and physical aggression from the child’s parent and Grandparent. Later in the day I also received threats to disrupt the operation of the school.

I contacted RM&R via their 24/7 emergency contact line and immediately received the support I needed. The director of the company was with us within 5 minutes. Upon arrival we agreed a list of options and actions in order to deal with the situation.

Unfortunately, the family once again visited the school at the end of the day and the Police had to be contacted. That evening we sought further support and advice from RM&R in order to impose a ban on the individuals from entering the school. This was backed by personal on site presence the following morning. This was extremely useful to me as it allowed me to attend to other school matters.

I would fully recommend the RM&R service to you. It is cost effective, responsive and decisive in the most challenging of situations. The director’s skills and experience were critical in helping ensure the safeguarding of all concerned and my personal safety.”

“On behalf of the sixth form students we would like to thank Delegated Services’ Louise Brennan, as part of their Business Manager Support Team, for creating such an amazing space for us. We very much appreciate that the student voice was incorporated into the design. The spaces that have been made available allow us to fully separate our work time from our social time. It is a big step in the development of the sixth form and we are growing from strength to strength. We appreciate all the hard work and commitment gone into making our new space better than we could have ever imagined; allowing us to achieve more than we ever thought possible.

We also cannot thank you enough for the amount of time and effort that must have been put into ensuring the room was set up with all the technology ready for us when we arrived back on the first day. All the hard work and care put in to the sixth form is clearly shown, and means a great deal to us all that we are able to have an area catered to our needs. So again thank you for all the hard work and dedication put in to making this an amazing space for us to learn and grow.”

“Bill and the team at Delegated Services have provided our schools with us some first class information this past term. They gave school leaders prompt snow reports and then were quickly on hand to ensure we had information about the risks associated with rogue emails. Our Principals have felt very well supported.

The Delegated Services team provide wise and appropriate advice in these challenging times.”

“I just want to say a huge thank you for the support you’ve given me with this so far and again for introducing me to iAM. It will hopefully ensure Educate Together have a much more manageable audit trail of our premises compliance, along with providing us the foundations of successful e-learning for our staff.”
